Anything Stick/Gummy WD-40 Nate Brent-St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center Use a rag soaked in WD-40 and place it on the sticky residue. Allow it to sit for 10-15 min. The WD-40 will break down the glue, and it can be scraped off. Particularly useful with really thick messes.
ink/marker stains Apply a liberal amount of Clearasil (brand or generic, they both work) to the mark, completely covering it. If you have available sunlight, or a UV light, lay the affected part in that light. Depending on the age and amount of ink, it could take a couple of days to remove the stain, but so far (knock on wood) I have had good results with this. Tape residue Wet the spot and shake baby powder onto the damp surface.ﾠLeave it a few minutes and then wipe it off with a damp cloth. Dixie Sollazzo, Wor Wci Community Collete I discovered this accidentally when I was cleaning my mannequins.ﾠﾠ I have used numerous products to clean the tape off the plastic.ﾠOne day I was in a hurry and applied the new baby powder before the plastic was dry.ﾠ When I wiped it off, the tape mark came with it.ﾠ Now I use nothing but baby powder. I've gotten marks off that won't come with anything else.
